Difficulty in accessing billing details to analyse consumption ultimately results in the loss of valuable time and the failure to achieve the expected results
In this context, our experience in data analysis has led us to create specific tools to be always optimized, detecting the existence of unused lines and poorly sized products. One of them is the «Detail Analysis of Uses in Mobile Telephony», which is presented as a detailed report in which we can comprehensively control the associated data at the highest phone-to-phone level, evolution of GB of national data, excess, extraordinary data not covered by the products, roaming data, voice minutes, and an endless amount of data hidden in the billing that the operator does not easily display.
Our transport sector customer with an overall annual expenditure of 636,188€ for telephony, 267,310€ for mobile telephony, with an extensive fleet of vehicles with more than 3,250 telephones and data cards linked to workers, asked us for help to analyze their billing in detail and to determine if there were any possibilities for optimization.
Only in national data traffic (78% of the total of its monthly billing of mobile telephony), using the «Analysis of detail of uses in Mobile Telephony» and making the exhaustive analysis one by one of the lines, we detected huge opportunities of optimization: National data product adjustments, unused product drops in the last 12 months, hidden extraordinary costs, billing errors, etc.
After analyzing and agreeing on the changes with the client, we proceeded to request the changes and decreases from the mobile operator, applying in the billing months later. After one year, this action resulted in an overall saving of 51.847€.
It is essential and indispensable to have necessary tools to visualize and analyze the billing data exhaustively with the fundamental guarantees to make the analysis more efficient, achieving maximum excellence in the optimization results.
